1.Mệnh đề chỉ mục đích.
a.S +V + to-V
b.S+V+ in order(not) to-V.
c.S+V + so as(not) to-V.
VD: I am learning hard-working to pass the exam.
(*). S1+V1 + so that/ in order that + S2+V2.
VD: She is hungrying so that she won’t miss the train.

2.MĐ chỉ kết quả.
a. S+V+too Adj/adv(for sb) to-V sth.
b.S+V+ Adj/adv +enough (for sb) to-V sth.
c. “ So” + many/much/little/few + N that +S +V.
VD: There are so many people in the room that I feel tired.
d.S+V + so+ Adj +a + singular noun that.
VD: It was so hot a day that we decided to stay indoor.
e. S+V+ such+a,an N/Adj + that..
VD: It was such a hot day that we decided to stay indoor.

3.MĐ chỉ lý do:
a. S+V+ because of/due to/owing to/thanks to + N/V-ing.
b.S+V + because/as/since + S2 +V2.

4.MĐ chỉ sự nhượng bộ:
a.In spite of/Despite + N/V-ing/noun phrase +S+V.
b.Although/Even though/Though + S1+V1, S2+V2..
c.No matter+ who/what/when/where/how(adj/adv),why + S1+V1, S2+V2.
Whatever(N) S1+V1,S2+V2.
VD: No matter who she is, I still love her= Whoever she is, I still love her.
